What We Take, and the Few Things We Cannot.

Junk Rush can haul away most of the everyday junk that piles up around your home, garage, rental property, or business. Furniture, appliances, household clutter, yard debris, construction debris, and general cleanout material are all common pickups for our Portland-area junk removal crew.
 

There are a few things we can’t safely or legally haul. Here’s the short, honest list because we’d rather tell you upfront than turn around in your driveway.

Hazardous waste
Chemicals, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, and similar materials.

Wet paint
Fully dried latex paint is usually okay. Send us a photo and we’ll let you know.

Asbestos-containing materials
These require proper handling by a licensed abatement contractor.

Motor oil, fuel, and antifreeze

These need to go to an approved recycling or hazardous waste facility.

Medical waste
Needles, sharps, medications, and other medical waste require proper disposal and cannot go into our trucks.

Ammunition and explosives
We cannot transport ammunition, fireworks, explosives, or similar materials.

Propane tanks
We may be able to take completely empty propane tanks with the valve open. Ask us before your pickup so we can confirm.
