Terms of Service
Effective date: September 8, 2026

These terms apply when you book junk removal or hauling service with Junk Rush LLC. Booking a job means you agree to them. If something here does not work for your situation, call us and we will sort it out before the truck rolls.

Our service
We remove and haul away furniture, appliances, household items, yard debris, construction and demolition debris, and general cleanout material for homes, rentals, businesses and job sites across the Greater Portland Metropolitan Area. If you are not sure whether you are in our range, call or text and ask.

Estimates and pricing
Our pricing is based on how much space your items take up in the truck and what it takes to get them there. Weight, stairs, distance to the truck and disassembly can all affect it.

The number we give you is the number you pay for the job you described. We will not add a fuel surcharge, a stairs fee, a weekend or same day premium, or a surprise charge after the truck is loaded, and you will not receive a second invoice.

If the job turns out to be smaller than described, the price comes down. If the job turns out to be materially different from what was described, for example significantly more volume than we were shown, or items we were not told about, we will stop and talk to you before we load anything. You will get a revised number to approve, or you can decline and we will leave. We will never quietly increase the price after the work is done.

Estimates given without seeing the items or a photo are approximate until we see the job.

Items we cannot accept
For safety and legal reasons we cannot haul hazardous or regulated material, including but not limited to: hazardous waste, chemicals, solvents and pesticides; wet paint; materials containing asbestos; motor oil, fuel and antifreeze; medical waste, needles and medications; ammunition, fireworks and explosives; and propane tanks that are not completely empty with the valve open.

If we find these items on site we will leave them, tell you why, and point you toward an appropriate disposal option. You will not be charged for items we do not take.

We may also decline any item or job that we judge unsafe for our crew, our equipment or your property.

Your responsibilities
By booking with us you confirm that you own the items being removed, or you have the legal authority to have them removed; that you have removed anything you want to keep, including valuables, documents, cash, medication and personal effects, because once items are loaded we cannot retrieve them; that you have told us about anything that affects access, such as stairs, elevators, narrow doorways, gate codes, parking restrictions or HOA rules; that you have arranged legal parking or truck access where required; and that any pets are secured while we are working.

If we cannot access the items when we arrive for reasons outside our control, we may need to reschedule and a trip charge may apply.

Scheduling, arrival windows and cancellations
We schedule arrival windows rather than exact times, because job length varies. If we are running behind we will contact you before your window rather than after. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. We do the same for you.

Payment
Payment is due when the job is complete unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Customers on contract pricing are invoiced according to their agreement.

Your property
We take care in your home and on your site. If we damage your property while performing the work, tell us promptly, ideally the same day, so we can look at it and put it right. We are not responsible for pre existing damage, wear on surfaces or flooring that occurs during the normal removal of large or heavy items, or damage caused by conditions we were not told about.

What happens to your items
We sort what can be donated or recycled and take the rest to a licensed transfer station. We aim to keep usable items out of landfills, but we cannot guarantee that any particular item will be donated, recycled or given to a specific organization. Once items leave your property they become ours to dispose of, and they cannot be returned.

Photos
We sometimes take before and after photos for our own records and for quality control. We will ask you first if we would like to use photos of your job in our marketing, and you can say no.

Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Oregon law, our liability for any claim arising out of a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost rent, lost income or missed deadlines. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Contract customers
Contractors, property managers and other repeat customers may have a separate written agreement covering rates, scheduling and invoicing. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the written agreement controls.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of the State of Oregon.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its effective date. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in effect when you book it.
