Almost anything that is bulky, heavy or awkward. Furniture, mattresses, appliances, hot tubs, sheds, exercise equipment, electronics, yard debris, carpet, remodel debris, and everything in a garage, basement or storage unit. What a junk removal company cannot take in Oregon is hazardous or regulated material: wet paint, solvents, chemicals, motor oil, fuel, antifreeze, asbestos-containing material, medical waste, ammunition and propane tanks. Those have to go through a licensed facility.

If you can point at it, we can probably load it. The common ones:

What junk removal companies take from businesses and jobsites
Commercial loads look different, but the rule is the same. Office furniture, cubicle panels, filing cabinets, shelving, retail fixtures and warehouse leftovers all go. From construction sites we haul framing lumber, drywall, concrete, brick, roofing tear-off, tile, carpet, insulation, cabinets, doors, windows, siding, metal conduit, pallets and general site trash.

What junk removal companies cannot take in Oregon
A short list, and it is short for a reason. These items are regulated, and a licensed transfer station will not accept them in a mixed load:
Wet paint, stains and solvents
Household and industrial chemicals
Motor oil, fuel and antifreeze
Asbestos-containing material, such as some older floor tile, pipe insulation and siding
Medical waste and sharps
Ammunition
Propane tanks
If something on your pile falls into that group, tell us. We will point you to the right disposal option so it still gets handled, and we will haul everything else. Dried-out latex paint cans and empty containers are a different story, so ask if you are not sure.
Two more that are handled case by case: anything with an active pest problem, and appliances still connected to gas or water lines. Tell us up front and we will let you know what is possible.
What happens to the stuff you take
We sort each load. Usable furniture and household goods are donated where possible. Metal, cardboard and clean wood go to recyclers. Refrigerators and freezers go to a recycler set up to recover refrigerant safely. What is left goes to a licensed transfer station. The goal is to keep as much as we can out of the landfill, and the sorting is part of the job, not an extra.

Text or email the picture with the address and when you need it gone, and you get a written quote before we roll. Quick answers
Can a junk removal company take a refrigerator?
Yes. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners can go on the truck with the refrigerant still in them. They are routed to a recycler that recovers it safely, so you do not need to have the unit evacuated first.
Can junk removal take paint cans?
Not wet paint. Wet paint, stains and solvents are regulated and have to go through a licensed facility. If you have a few cans, tell us and we will point you to the right drop-off. Empty, dried-out cans are usually fine, so ask.
Can junk removal take a hot tub?
Yes. We break it down on site and haul the pieces. Hot tubs are one of the more common single-item jobs we do. Tell us where it sits and whether there is a clear path to the truck so we can quote it right.
